Each of the Sandpiper's 51 suites boast full kitchens, spacious living rooms, separate bedrooms and private balconies, many with stunning views of the ocean. Plus, you'll be a block down Beach Avenue from historic Congress Hall, just minutes away from the best boutiques, restaurants and landmarks Cape May has to offer.

Premium hardwood floors, stylish beach house decor and select furnishings make the suites at the Sandpiper Beach Club exceptionally comfortable beach-side retreats. All units are decorated in an airy, seaside palette that give them a fresh, cool vibe that’s warmed up with rattan accents and pretty custom rugs. Bathrooms and kitchens are finished with tile and marble countertops and are stocked with appliances, cookware, utensils and glassware.
The living rooms are spacious and full of light, opening out onto private balconies—many of which overlook the ocean. The luxurious beds in the bedrooms are draped with all-cotton Belgian sheets and Italian duvet covers. There’s nothing better than throwing yourself deep into the soft white cotton sheets of a Sandpiper bed after fun-filled day in the sun.

Larger groups and families will love the airy Two Bedroom Suites at the Sandpiper. These suites offer all the premium finishes and stylish accents of the One Bedroom units, with an additional bedroom to provide the space needed to keep everyone comfortable. A sleeper sofa in the living room provides sleeping arrangements for an additional guest (or two), meaning that these units can comfortably accommodate up to six travelers.
All Two Bedroom Suites offer appealing beach-chic décor with an airy, seaside palette that’s complemented by hardwood floors and select furnishings. Bathrooms and kitchens are finished with tile and marble countertops and are stocked with appliances, cookware, utensils and glassware.
Accessible rooms are available in the One Bedroom Suite room type. The rooms are outfitted with one Queen bed and a pullout sofa bed in the living room. This suite is located on the first floor and can be accessed by a ramp and/or elevator. The bathroom provides roll-in shower with grab bars. The Sandpiper has 2 guest elevators and the hotel has wheel chair ramp entry.
Shower Seats and portable commodes are available upon request.

Learn to ride the waves in Cape May with an expertly-led surfing lesson! This experience is available as a Stay Enhancement for stays at The Sandpiper Beach Club.
Join Cape May’s vibrant surfing culture for a weekend, where you’ll be treated to a customized surfing lesson in the waters of Cove Beach. Take to the water with instructors from our partners at EcoVentures, who will teach you how to ride the waves at your own pace and comfort level. Our sister property, the Beach Shack, will serve as the base camp for this exciting experience.
This experience can be added to your overnight stay at The Sandpiper Beach Club as a Stay Enhancement.
Included in this Stay Enhancement:
- A 1.5 Hour Customized Surfing Lesson on the Saturday morning of your stay, led by an expert instructor at a 3 to 1 guest-to-instructor ratio
